As we discussed yesterday, money is becoming key in U.S. Presidential elections. Today I received a solicitation for money from Hillary Clinton's campaign. This is the earliest I have ever received a solicitation of this nature. I can't stress enough that you should support your favored candidate financially. The sad fact is that money wins elections because our nation as a whole has an attention span similar to a 4-year-old high on sugar, or maybe a gnat. We can't pay attention to what the candidates are telling us; we have to see it in a shiny, entertaining commercial, or beaten into us by the local talking heads (Ed's Note: I think it's a stretch to call FOX 59's morning program "news").
Maybe more people would vote if they wrote it into the plot of Ugly Betty.
