Iraq Statistics

For anyone who is keeping track, here are the latest Iraq Coalition statistics. The war is getting expensive, both in actual $$ and U.S. lives.

3,378 U.S. Troops have been killed, with 26,188 wounded.
$423.9 Billion USD spent, which increases by about $1,300.00 per second. A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon we're talking about real money.

Yesterday the White House warned that casualties were going to get worse as we go into the "bad neighborhoods".

The cost of the war is also showing up in other areas. Particularly that many state's National Guard units aren't able to respond to emergencies in their states because their equipment is in Iraq. Notably the recent Greensburg, Kansas tornadoes.
