Iraq Coalition Casualties Mount

In the last 24 hours, 9 U.S. Soldiers have been killed in 5 separate attacks across Iraq. Let's go over some numbers...

3,431 U.S. Soldiers KIA
30,000 U.S. Soldiers Wounded
917 Private Military Contractors KIA (U.S. Citizens)
12,000 Private Military Contractors Wounded (U.S. Citizens)

428.1 Billion USD (estimated) spent, increasing by about $1,300 per second

An estimated 65,000 - 650,000 Iraqi civilians killed, and we don't even officially keep track of the number. I guess we learned the wrong lessons from Vietnam.

Does anyone still think this was a good idea?
